The verified badge tells buyers a brand or shop is who they say they are. During beta, every application is reviewed by hand by the BlackMarkit team.

What we look for right now

• A real brand or an established resale shop, with an Instagram, TikTok or website we can check.
• Your own original photos, and listings that follow our seller rules.
• Payouts set up and an account in good standing.

What the badge gets you

• The check mark next to your name on your profile, listings and Feed posts.
• More buyer trust, especially on higher-priced items.
• Early access to brand stores when they launch.

Good to know

• Requirements will get stricter after beta, for example a minimum number of completed sales. Sellers verified during beta keep their badge as long as they stay in good standing.
• We can remove a badge for breaking the rules, especially anything to do with authenticity.
• The badge confirms who the seller is. It isn't a guarantee of an individual item; Buyer Protection covers that.
