Our story
BlackMarkit started the way a lot of resale shops do: with a reseller who was tired of the apps he sold on.
We run a streetwear resale shop out of South Jersey, selling at pop-ups, on Instagram and on the big resale apps. When we asked other sellers what frustrated them, we kept hearing the same three things: rules that change without warning, money held for days with no explanation, and platforms that stopped listening to the people who stock them.
So we built the marketplace we wanted to sell on.
What we believe
- Sellers deserve to know where they stand. Every rule is written in plain language, every action comes with a reason, and your account standing is on your profile, not hidden in a support ticket.
- Your money should move fast and predictably. You get paid after delivery on a schedule you can see, and it gets faster as you build a track record.
- Sellers should keep what they earn. No selling fees: you keep 100% of your price, and boosts only cost something when they work.
- Resale is a community. Buyers, sellers, brands and creators all make the market. We want to hear from all of them and build with them.
What makes us different
BlackMarkit mixes a shop you can browse with a short-video Feed where items get discovered, plus live auctions, offers and flash sales. It's built for clothes, shoes and accessories, and for the people who love them.
